The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free information and advice from over 3,200 locations, and by influencing policymakers.

The Citizens Advice Bureau in Kettering holds drop-in sessions on a Monday and Wednesday 9.30 - 11.30am.

Ledbury & Area Development Trust

A major refurbishment programme at the Old Cottage Hospital in Ledbury has resulted in the creation of 6 affordable flats for local people and 8 Studios for young entrepreneurial businesses.

The Ledbury & Area Development Trust was one of the key partners in ‘making this happen’ and is based in the building. Our role now is to find Tenants for the Studios and we are pleased to say that five different businesses have already taken up occupancy.

Our trust has also carried out a major community consultation to find out what local residents and organisations wanted another building in the town to be used for - which resulted in the local authority agreeing to put forward £2.92m towards its refurbishment.

We are currently working with the Trustees of another building to create some innovative solutions as to how it could be used in the coming years.

Wyldwoods Rural Discoveries

Wyldwoods is a registered charity based down a half mile track in beautiful rural Shropshire on the outskirts of Broseley. We provide activities both educational and recreational in a whole variety of subjects ranging from organic gardening through to holistic therapies, small animal care, environmental awareness, rural arts and crafts and spiritual and mental well being as well as traditional arts and crafts. 

Everyone is welcome at Wyldwoods. We can facilitate anyone form the community as well as those who are disadvantaged. We provide a very high standard of service and our prices are extremely good value. We will subsidize wherever possible and occasionally we can provide for free (subject to funding).
